Congratulations to all those children who made their First Holy Communion on 17th May.

We also had a special mass in school for them on Thursday 11th June. This was followed by a party with a gorgeous (but sickly!) Communion cake.

CAFOD

On Friday 6/3/09 we had our CAFOD meal at school.The children in years 2-6 forsake their school lunch on this day. Instead of getting a dinner, school provides children with a sandwich.The dinner money from that day is donated to charity.

Holy Communion 2009

St. Nicholas children have started preparing for their first Holy Communion in May. Here are some important dates for your calendar if you would like to share the children's journey towards their first special day.

Sunday 8th February, 10am

Children's induction at St. Nicholas Church.

Sunday 1st March, 10am 

2nd mass for Holy Communion.

Sunday 22nd March, 10am

3rd mass for Holy Communion.

Sunday 26th April, 10am

4th mass for Holy Communion.

Sunday 17th May, 10am

Children's First Holy Communion.
