Wake up Shake up

Well Done to all our Wake up Shake up leaders who took part in the Garforth competition. Unfortunatly we didn't win but our dancers put in a great effort and we are all very proud of them.

Our Wake up Shake up leaders will be representing the school in a competition on 3rd June at Garforth Community College. We wish them all the best of luck and know they will do well. Keep up the hard work.

Wake up Shake up is a set of aerobic movements performed to dance.

Everyday after lunch all the children and teachers in school take part in Wake up Shake up for 10minutes.

We have a number of different dances to songs including: YMCA, It's Raining Men, Tradegy and our most recent number Fame. Mrs Rainbow leads us in Wake up Shake up and makes up the dances. Some children from Years 5 and 6 are leaders and help the children in Key Stage 1 and 2 learn the dances.
