Classrooms
All of our Lenten activities are now in full swing and we are working hard to raise money for a number of charities throughout the Lenten period. Mrs Fox and her class have been selling toast with Fairtrade Jam and Chocolate spread every Tuesday and Thursday and this will continue throughout Lent with the money raised going to charity. On Monday 10th March Mr Lawson gave us the challenge of learning all the flags of the Fairtrade countries and asked us to get sponsored for all the ones we can learn. We get tested on Friday and we have all been revising hard. Next week the children in Key Stage 2 will be planning their own fundraising events and the children in Key Stage 1 will be holding a bun sale later on in the term. We hope to raise lots of money during this period of Lent.
Thursday 4th February
Today was a very exciting day in school. Mr Lawson told us he had a big surprise for us this afternoon, because we have all been working so hard. We were all really excited and when it came to lunchtime people started setting up big walls in the hall. It was a Pantomime. After lunch we all went into the hall and watch Dick Wittington. It was really good fun, there was lots of cheering and booing and some great songs we could all join in with. We really enjoyed our afternoon and hope that they can come again.

One of our new after school clubs Lets' get cooking has proved to be very popular. They are now in their fifth week and they have been cooking, and preparing lots of lovely dishes. They have taken home smoothies, scones and pizzas. The whole club is looking forward to preparing, cooking and eating many more delicious recipes.
